Column:Industry News Time:2021-08-09

The 23rd China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE China Optical Expo for short) will be held at Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Baoan New Hall) on September 1-3, 2021. With a total exhibition area of 160,000 square meters, it is expected to attract more than 3,000 optoelectronic companies and more than 85,000 professional visitors.

Since the official launch of the booth for the CIOE China Optical Expo in 2021, in just over four months so far, 70% of the booths have been sold, and industry-leading companies have confirmed their participation. It is believed that CIOE China Optical Expo will, under the strong empowerment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the new pavilion, will gather more global superior innovation resources and promote the continuous innovation and application of optoelectronic technology in various industries.

From the optoelectronic industry to terminal applications, the number of visitors increased by 56%

With the development of optoelectronic technology, the application of optoelectronic technology in various fields has also developed from a single pattern in the past to a comprehensive application. Since 2017, the CIOE China Optical Expo has divided nine application fields for the key applications of the optoelectronic industry. Time continues to sort out and subdivide the audience data of the nine application fields, through the analysis of big data, based on the audience’s perspective, match and show the needs of the exhibits and each type of application field for optoelectronic products, and hold various online and offline activities Popularize and disseminate information on optoelectronic applications. While enhancing the brand influence of the exhibition, it also allows more and more people in the application field to understand and participate in the CIOE China Optical Expo. The number of visitors at CIOE China Optical Expo in 2016 was 50,547, and the number of visitors in 2017 was 57,348. By 2019, the number of viewers will be 78,709. It is precisely through continuous expansion from the optoelectronic industry to terminal applications that the number of visitors increased by 56% from 2016 to 2019.

Optoelectronics upstream and downstream industry chains are displayed together, and the display area is expanded by 45%

CIOE2021 will be set up during the same period

S1 Laser Technology Branch

S2 Optical Communication and Network

S3 infrared technology and application

S4 Precision Optics

S5 Fiber Optic Technology and Sensing

S6 Optoelectronic devices and applications

S7 Biophotonics

S8. Artificial Intelligence Photonics

S9. Silicon Photonics

With the help of the synergy effect of comprehensive exhibitions, the various fields penetrate and intersect each other, and the upstream and downstream supply chain customers will display together to maximize the value of the exhibition;

In 2021, the scale of each exhibition will be upgraded, with unique highlights. For example, the "Information and Communication Exhibition" will add new display sections such as cloud data center and wireless communication to further improve the communication industry chain; Group, optical coating to optical equipment, inspection and measurement and machine vision system applications, a complete display of the upstream and downstream industry chain, and the theme of each exhibition hall is clear; "Laser Technology and Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition" focuses on laser fine processing and innovative applications, adding "Laser Display and Projection", "Industrial Robots" and other display sections; "Infrared Technology and Application Exhibition" helps promote the application of infrared in electric power, petrochemical, coal, fire protection applications, medical beauty, mobile phones and warehouse online monitoring and other industries. A special millimeter-wave terahertz display area is set up, which covers the entire millimeter-wave terahertz industry chain such as chips, devices, materials, testing and system applications. "Photoelectric Sensing Exhibition" focuses on the application of photoelectric sensing technologies such as lidar, 3D sensing, visual sensing, and optical fiber sensing in consumer electronics, smart driving, communications electronics, advanced manufacturing, medical care, security and energy; The "Optical Electronics Innovation Exhibition" provides a platform for docking and transformation for scientific research institutes, universities and optoelectronic companies. At present, some exhibitors include Hisense, Liante, ZTE, SCHOTT, Jiuzhiyang, Soleibo, Fuguang, Hongxiang, Teledyne, Cathay Pacific Vacuum, All Europe Optics, Lorentz, Autolun, Juyou, Obi Zhongguang, etc. (The above are part of the exhibitors, in no particular order).

During the exhibition, related industry conferences will be held on-site focusing on academic, industrial, and application directions to discuss the development hotspots and trends of information communication, optics, laser, infrared and other industries, providing strong sustainable development support for the future layout of enterprises. At the same time, firmly grasp the popular application markets of intelligent driving, consumer electronics, security, machine vision, etc., and hold a series of "optical +" application summits to promote the deep integration of optoelectronic technology in the application field, and promote the interaction between optoelectronic enterprises and application customers .

The new Baoan Pavilion has a reasonable layout and is perfectly connected to the sea, land and air lines

Each exhibition hall is a standard exhibition hall of 20,000 square meters. The exhibition hall has 5 entrances, evenly distributed in the north and south, the layout is clear and reasonable, and the passenger and cargo flow lines are efficient; Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, a super-large convention and exhibition complex, is located in Bao'an District, Shenzhen Located at the top of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area-the center of the Pearl River Delta and the center of the Guangdong Free Trade Zone, at the same time at the intersection of the three major urban circles of Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen, Guanhui, and Zhuzhong River, close to Fuyong Wharf and Shenzhen Airport, Connected to Yanjiang Expressway and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, the geographical position is excellent;
