Introduction: Quartz glass is divided into JGS1, JGS2, and JGS3 according to its spectral characteristics. Quartz glass is made by melting all kinds of pure natural quartz (such as crystal, quartz sand, etc.).

From the perspective of optical applications:

Quartz glass has a very low thermal expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, excellent chemical stability, excellent electrical insulation, low and stable ultrasonic delay performance, the best UV-transmitting spectrum performance and visible light and near-infrared spectrum transmission Performance, and has higher mechanical properties than ordinary glass.

The coefficient of linear expansion is very small, 1/10-1/20 of ordinary glass, and has good thermal shock resistance. Its heat resistance is very high, the temperature of regular use is 1100~1200℃, and the temperature of short-term use can reach 1400℃. Quartz glass is mainly used in laboratory equipment and refining equipment for special high-purity products. Because of its high spectral transmission, it will not be damaged by radiation (other glass will be dark after being irradiated by radiation), so it is also an ideal glass for spacecraft, wind tunnel windows and spectrophotometer optical systems.

Optical index:

400~1100nm@T>92%

The transmittance after coating double-sided AR can reach 98%

Application areas:

Various instrument windows, military industry, metallurgy, instruments, etc. have high requirements for temperature equipment.
