Introduction: Sapphire windows have good optical transmittance characteristics, high mechanical properties, and high temperature resistance. They are very suitable for sapphire optical windows. Sapphire windows have become high-end products for optical windows.

Product Details:

Sapphire is used as a light guide for immersion infrared spectroscopy, and it is also used for 2.94 micron Er:YAG laser transmission. Sapphire has excellent surface hardness, and its transmittance extends from ultraviolet to mid-infrared wavelength region. Sapphire can only be scratched by a few substances other than it. The uncoated substrate is chemically inert and insoluble in water, common acids or alkalis at temperatures up to about 1000°C. Our sapphire window is a z-axis section, so the c-axis of the crystal is parallel to the optical axis, eliminating the birefringence effect of transmitted light.

Sapphire can be divided into two types: coated and uncoated. The uncoated version is designed for applications in the range of 150 nm-4.5 μm, while the AR-coated version is coated with anti-reflective coating on both sides and is designed for 1.65 µm-3.0 µm (-D) or the range of 2.0 µm-5.0 µm (-E1).

Application areas:

It is used in various photometers and spectrometers, as well as sapphire observation windows for reaction furnaces, high-temperature furnaces, reactors and other products, lasers and industry.
